Tribal Nation Motorcycle Community Mission Statement:
To support and uplift our communities through positive and pro-social engagement.
TRIBAL NATIONS CONSTITUTION
Tribal Nations Motorcycle Community Inc, (Tribal Nations), was formed
in Waikato, Aotearoa 2014. Tribal Nations National Executive, (“National
Executive”), is from the Waikato. Members of the National Executive must
be elected from members residing in the Waikato, except for National
Secretary, National Treasurer and National Road Captain who may be
elected from outside of the Waikato Region.
The Tribal Nations Constitution,(“the Constitution”), defines Tribal
Nations as all tribes. Tribal is a link or connection to original family roots. Everyone
can trace their family connection to a tribe or a clan. Tribal Nations does not
discriminate with regards race, gender, religion or age.
Tribal Nations operates as a democracy which is guided by an elected Executive
as the governing body to oversee the overall day-to-day business of Tribal Nations.
As a governing body, the Executive regulates compliance with the rules and
regulations of Tribal Nations, and to ensure compliance with the Incorporated
Societies Act 2022.
To join the Tribal Nations, you must be pro-social and supportive of others in
the community who need support. The Constitution is the underpinning document
for members and recognises the physical, spiritual and intellectual rights of all
people.
Tribal Nations operates on the principles of F. A. I. T. H.
FAMILY, ACCEPTANCE, INTEGRITY, TRUST, & HONESTY.
Members aspire to these principles at all times whether during club events or not.
OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY (F.A.I.T.H)
1 : The name of the society is Tribal Nations Motorcycle Community Incorporated.
1.1: The society is constituted by resolution dated 28 February 2014.
1.2: The registered office of Tribal Nations Motorcycle Community Incorporated is 59 Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia Waikato 3700.
1.2.1: The primary purposes and principles of Tribal Nations is to uplift and support those in our communities
who are in need through positive social engagement
including but not limited to:
(a) Annual Ride of Respect to support the Returned Services Association.
(b) Annual Ride Against Teen Suicide
2: Pecuniary gain is not a purpose of Tribal Nations.
TRIBAL NATIONS RULES
1: MEMBERSHIP
1.1: Membership is open to all persons with a minimum age of 18 years, who are
fully committed to the philosophy, purposes and principles of Tribal Nations,
share a passion for British, European and American (B.E.A) motorcycles and
who:
(a) Meet and spend time with the members; and
(b) Agree and with the purposes, principles and philosophy of Tribal
Nations; and
(c) Agree with and abide by the rules of Tribal Nations; and
(d) Have pro-social values and a genuine desire to assist others; and
(e) Pay regular fees; and
(f) Express a true desire to be a fully participating member of Tribal
Nations and
(g) Respect others and treat all people equally with honour and integrity.
2: TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
2.1: A member may resign at any time by notifying a member of their Regional
Table.
2.2: Membership may be terminated for any serious breach of the rules or noncompliance with the purposes, principles and philosophy of Tribal Nations.
This is confirmed upon a 75% vote of the governing body in a region, the
Regional Table.
2.3: A former member who has resigned may apply for reinstatement of
membership in the accordance with the process for new members.
2.4: A member who has had his/her membership terminated must not be readmitted without a 75% vote of approval by Full Members at a Full Set Meeting
in their Region.
3: FINANCES
3.1: All income generated by Tribal Nations events and activities must be used for
the for which the society was formed. Funds can be used to grow Tribal
Nations.
3.2: No member may derive income/profit from the activities of Tribal Nations.
3.3: Members and non-members may be reimbursed for personal expenditure to
support and promote Tribal Nations purpose. Reimbursement will only be
provided on production of a receipt.
3.4: Tribal Nations must donate all monies raised to the elected charity/community
organisation.
3.5: Regional Treasurers are responsible for administering Tribal Nations finances
in their region.
3.6: The National Treasurer must ensure all Tribal Nations finances and reporting
complies with the requirements set out in the Incorporated Societies Act 2022,
including the provision of an Annual Report, Statement of Financial Position,
and proof of Society Objectives.
3.7: The Executive Committee must ensure all income is utilised for the purpose of
Tribal Nations and in accordance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
4: DISSOLUTION OF TRIBAL NATIONS
4.1: All debts, costs and liabilities must be paid.
4.2: Surplus money and other assets may be disposed of by:
(a) Resolution; or
(b) According to the provisions of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
4.3: No distribution of money or assets shall be made to any member(s)
4.4: After dissolution, any surplus money and/or other assets must be distributed to
charity.
5: CONTROL AND USE OF COMMON SEAL
5.1: The Common Seal must be used on any legal documents or contracts.
5.2: The Common Seal must be kept by a member of the Executive Committee.
5.3: Use of the Common Seal must be witnessed by a member of Tribal Nations.
6: MEMBERSHIP LEVELS – ALL LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP ARE SUBJECT
TO A VOTING PROCESS
6.1: Tribal Nations is a B.E.A. Club. Membership is open to all persons 18 years and
over who are committed to the purposes and principles of Tribal Nations and
F.A.I.T.H. The membership levels are to encourage greater participation and
transition to full membership.
Levels of membership:
(i) Supporter – (Non-rider)
(ii) Associate Rider – Non-B.E.A rider
(iii) Recruit – B.E.A Bike
(iv) Full Member – B.E.A Bike
(v) Life Member
(vi) Honorary Member
6.2: Progression through each level will be achieved through a minimum of a 75%
vote Full Set Members in a Region.
6.3: Members can only be a fee-paying member within the region they live in.
6.4: LEVEL 1 SUPPORTER NON-RIDER FRONT SET
(i) A Supporter will have access to the Tribal Nations Facebook Community
Page, and the Tribal Nations, Recruits, Supporters and Guests
Facebook Page.
(ii) A Supporter will be invited to rides, events and club functions.
(iii) A Supporter may attend club meetings by invitation only.
(iv) A Supporter member does not have the right to vote.
(vi) A Supporter can participate in the Supporter Forum to discuss issues
(v) A Supporter may progress to Associate Member/Recruit after a minimum
of 3 months, on the purchase of a motorcycle, and obtaining a licence.
6.5: LEVEL 2 NON-B.E.A. RIDER FRONT SET (ASSOCIATE MEMBER)
(i) A Supporter Rider is encouraged to attend all Tribal Nations Rides, Events.
(ii) A Supporter Rider will have access to the Tribal Nations Facebook
Community Page, and the Tribal Nations, Recruits, Supporters and
Guests Facebook Page.
(iii) A Supporter Rider must have a Sponsor.
(iv) A Supporter Rider may progress to a Full Set Member upon the purchase
of B.E.A bike and nomination and as per voting process in 1.1.
(v) Progression through each level will be achieved through a minimum of a
75% vote of Full Set Members in a Region.
(vi) By signing the Member’s Pledge, a Supporter Rider commits to the
Purposes and Principles of Tribal Nations, (F.A.I.T. H).
6.6: LEVEL 3 FRONT SET RIDER
(i) Access to the Tribal Nations Facebook Community Page, and the Tribal
Nations, Recruits, Supporters and Guests Facebook Page
(ii) A Front Setter is expected to attend all Tribal Nations rides, events.
(iii) Should have a sound working knowledge of the Tribal Nations
Constitution and Rules, whakapapa, and underlying principles.
(iv) May become a Full Member when voted in as per 1.1, and after a
minimum of 6 months.
(v) By signing the Member’s Pledge, a Recruit commits to the Purposes and
Principles of Tribal Nations, (F.A.I.T. H).
6.7: LEVEL 4 FULL SET MEMBER B.E.A MOTORCYCLE
(i) A Full Member will have access to the Tribal Nations Facebook
Community Page, and the Tribal Nations, Recruits, Supporters and
Guests Facebook Page, Tribal Nations Full Members Page and Tribal
Nations Full Members Website.
(ii) A Full Member can nominate and sponsor one Recruit to become a Full
Member at any one time.
(iii) A Full Member is expected to mentor and guide Recruits, whether you are a sponsor or not.
(iv) A Full Member should attend all Tribal Nations rides, events and club meetings.
(v) A Full Member should have a sound working knowledge of the Tribal
Nations Constitution, whakapapa
(vi) By signing the Member’s Pledge, a Full Member commits to the
Purposes and Principles of Tribal Nations (F.A.I.T.H).
(vii) A Full Member can elect NOT to wear the back set with approval from
the Executive.
(viii) Full membership may be reviewed if a Full Member fails to attend less
than 4 club meetings per year.
6.8: LIFE MEMBERSHIP
(i) Membership fees must be up to date.
(ii) Full set membership for a minimum of 15 years, unless there are
exceptional circumstances, for example being a member of the
Executive/ Ambassador/Regional Table for 3 terms or more.
(iii) Have held an Executive position (Ambassador included), for a minimum
of 3 terms or 9 years.
(iv) A potential Life Member is expected to have contributed outstanding
service/contribution to the club and community.
(v) Life membership status is not automatic once the criteria are met.
(vi) If the criteria for Life Membership are met, a member may apply to the
Executive for Life Membership status.
(vii) Life Membership will not be approved unless there is 100% Executive
approval and a minimum of 75 % approval of all Full Members in a
region.
(viii) A Life Member has all the same rights and obligations of a Full Set
Member.
(ix) A Life Member is exempt from paying fees.
6.9: HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
(i) A person may be made an Honorary Member for significant and long
standing service/contribution and/or support of Tribal Nations
(ii) Any member may nominate a person for honorary membership to an
Ambassador in their Region.
(iii) A nomination must be supported by a written submission setting out the
reasons why a person is being put forward as an honorary member.
(iv) If the Ambassador agrees a nominated person should be considered
for Honorary Membership status, the Ambassador must put forward the
nomination to members in their region. Refer to green section above
(v) To achieve Honorary Membership status a person must receive 75%
approval of members in a Region.
(vi) An Honorary Member can attend club meetings, but does not have any
voting rights.
7: SPONSORS
(i) A Sponsor is expected to get to know their Recruit and their family to
build strong relationships and support.
(ii) Only a Sponsor can put their Guest/Front Set forward to be considered
for the next level of membership.
(iii) A Sponsor should be available to their Recruit at all times by phone,
Facebook, or messenger.
(iv) A Sponsor is expected to ensure their Recruit, if familiar with all aspects
of Tribal Nations membership, for exemplary fees, behaviour, and rules.
(v) A Sponsor must justify to the members in their Region why their Recruit
should progress to Full Member status.
(vi) A Sponsor must be a full financial member.
(vii) A Full Member can only sponsor one person at a time, unless there are
exceptional circumstances considered by their Ambassador.
(viii) A sponsor cannot be a member of the National Executive.
(ix) An Ambassador or member of a Regional Table should not be a Sponsor
unless sponsorship is required for regional growth.

8 EXCLUSIONS
(i) Anyone with a previous criminal conviction or current charges for sexual
offending will automatically be excluded unless there are extraordinary
mitigating circumstances to be considered by the Executive.
9 MEMBERSHIP
(i) Joining Fee: One-off payment of $480.00 NZD for all levels of
membership
(ii) Membership Fees recommended $7.00per week minimum.
(iii) A Regional Table can elect to charge their members more.
(iv) Fees to be paid by automatic payment on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
10 CODE OF CONDUCT
Members are expected to:
(I) Uphold the purposes and principles of Tribal Nations (F.A.I.T.H).
(ii) Engage in pro-social behaviour at all times whilst wearing Tribal Nations
Sets
(iii) To ensure their motorcycle is registered and warranted.
(iv) To ensure they have a valid licence.
(v) Using or dealing in Class A drugs will not be tolerated whilst representing
Tribal Nations in any capacity.
(vi) To ride safely and responsibly
(vii) Be a pro-social member of our community.
11 CLUB CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
(i) Members must wear dark green, white or black, under vests and jackets
for all Tribal Nations national events.

(ii) Sets to be worn at all Tribal Nations rides, meetings, events and
functions.
(iii) Ambassadors have discretion to allow members to wear different
coloured clothing underneath their vests for Regional events.
(iv) Eligibility for Club TNMC Ring. A member must have been a Full Set
member for two years before a club ring can be worn. As per the rules
for club sets, when a member leaves the club, the ring must be handed
in to the Regional Table along with all other Full Set clothing and the Set.
12 LICENCES
(i) Members are expected to have the correct class of licence and are
legally responsible for any legal action against therm.
(ii) A member should notify the Executive/Regional Committee as soon as
possible of any loss of licence or disqualification.
13 MEETINGS
(i) Full Members must attend a minimum of 4 end of month meetings per
year.
(ii) A member will only be excused from attendance at meetings by
submitting an apology in writing or informing another member. If no
apology as per the rules the member will be recorded as absent.
(iii) Members’ attendance at end of month meetings will be formally
recorded.
(iv) Sets must be worn at meetings.
14 RIDING GEAR
(i) Motorcycles are expected be road safe and must have current warrant
and registration.
(ii) German style helmets are not permitted whilst wearing club colours.
(iii) Motorcycle helmets must be DOT approved.
(iv) Members are expected to wear tidy protective clothing and footwear.

15 SETS
(i) Sets are received in two stages
(i) Supporter Non-Rider, Supporter Rider or Recruit – Receives front set
(ii) Full Member receives Back Set.
(iii) Each member is issued with one set. Replacement sets issued at a
member’s expense.
(iv) Sets must be STITCHED onto vests.
(v) Upon termination of membership Sets and all full member apparel must
be returned to Tribal Nations Waikato with the exclusion of life members.
(vi) In the case of death the member’s Set may be buried with them. If not it
should be returned to Tribal Nations Waikato.
(vii) Sets must be worn on all club rides and travelling to and from events
unless otherwise advised by the Regional or National Table, or if the
member is of the view their personal safety is at risk, they can elect not
to wear their set..
(viii) Members may wear their Sets outside of club events and if so, they must
abide by all club rules and expected standards of conduct.
(ix) Members must not wear any unauthorised badges or clothing.
16 MISCONDUCT
16.1 Misconduct is defined as any deliberate, serious and repeated breach of the
rules, or non-compliance with F.A.I T.H such as but not limited to:
(i) Theft of club or personal property.
(ii) Verbal/Physical abuse or bullying whether in person or online.
(iii) Dangerous and/or irresponsible riding and putting other at risk (excluding
Blockers).
(iv) Consistent non-attendance at club meetings and club events without
reasonable excuse.

(v) Consistent non-payment of fees without reasonable excuse.
(vi) Bringing Tribal Nations into disrepute e.g. anti-social behaviour, publicly
speaking negatively about other clubs.
(vii) Informing non-club members about Tribal Nations internal business.
(viii) Any deliberate undermining of the National Executive by misinformation.
17 COMPLAINTS PROCESS – REGIONAL AND NATIONAL LEVEL
17.1 If a member (at any stage of membership including a Life Member and Honorary
Member, has a complaint they should:
(i) Raise the issue whether it is a complaint at with a member of the
Regional Table.
(ii) The Regional Table must record in the complaint in writing to be checked
by the person who made the complaint.
(iii) If the complaint is a Regional issue, it should be resolved in the first
instance by the Regional Table with the outcome recorded in writing and
the complainant informed.
(iv) If a Regional issue is unable to be resolved at a Regional level it should
be escalated by a member of the Regional Table to any member of the
National Executive as soon as possible.
(v) The National Sergeant At Arms will then contact the complainant and the
Regional Ambassador and any others involved in the complaint to gather
information.
(vi) The National Executive will then discuss the complaint and try and
resolve matters.
(vii) If a Full Set Member has a complaint or issue regarding the National
Executive as a whole or any individual member of the National
Executive, they must in the first instance raise the issue immediately with
their Regional Ambassador after which the Regional Ambassador
informs the National Sergeant at Arms.
(viii) The National Sergeant at Arms will commence information gathering.
(viii) The relevant parties will then meet with the complainant, to work through
resolving the issue.

18.1 Repeated failure to pay fees may result in temporary suspension of full
membership rights unless there are exceptional circumstances, for example
undue hardship.
18.2 No more than one exceptional circumstance of hardship will be accepted to
fees not being paid.
18.3 The principles of F.A.I.T.H to be followed at all times whilst engaged in club
activities, and members should strive to uphold the principles of F.A.I.T.H in all
other aspects of their daily lives.
18.4 Members take full responsibility for their actions during any club related activities
and must sign the waiver form as part of their membership.
19 EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT – FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, RIGHTS AND
OBLIGATIONS OF THE TRIBAL NATIONS EXECUTIVE
19.1 National Executive Membership
(i) The National President, Sgt At Arms and Vice President of the National
Executive must reside in Te Puku (Waikato). National Secretary,
National Treasurer and National Road Captain positions can be elected
from other regions.
(a) National President
(b) National Treasurer
(c) National Vice President
(d) National Sergeant at Arms
(e) National Road Captain
(f) National Secretary
19.2 All National Executive positions are held for a minimum of 3 years except for
the President which is a minimum of 5 years.
19.3 Members from the Regions are eligible for the National Executive positions of
National Treasurer, National Secretary and National Road Captain after serving

5 years as a Full Member. After 5 years a Full Member is expected to have
demonstrated loyalty to the club, leadership and mentoring, of other members,
to have good knowledge of the Rules, Constitution and underlying principles of
the club, and good knowledge of the fundamentals of how the operation of the
club and its structure.
19.4 Executive Position Descriptions
(i) National President – oversees the Executive, provides guidance over general
operational matters, diplomacy
(ii) National Vice President – Support role for President. To act for president
in times of absence. Oversee club members and behaviour. Report to
President on any matters affecting the club
(iii) National Treasurer – Manage and account for all club finances. Report
to Executive. Prepare end of year financial report for AGM.
(iv) National Secretary: General administration of club business. Take
minutes from meetings, prepare the agenda. Send notices via text and
internet of events and rides
(v) Sergeant At Arms. – Pastoral care, liaison, conflict resolution.
(vi) National Road Captain – ensuring safety, organisation, leading rides,
and mapping routes for all National rides.
19.5 Executive Functions
(i) The function of the Executive is to oversee the day to day running of
Tribal Nations, including managing the finances, brand protection and
merchandising, growth and expansion, the well-being of members, and
member compliance with the club rules.
(ii) The Executive has a duty to ensure Tribal Nations acts in compliance
with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
(iii) To ensure the holding of an Annual General Meeting.
(iv) To appoint national and international Ambassadors.
(v) To appoint a Chief Ambassador.

(vi) To appoint other non-executive positions
(vii) To ensure the Tribal Nations Rules are fit for purpose.
(viii) To oversee Regional operations and ensure compliance with the Rules,
Constitution and compliance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022,
and liaise with Regional Ambassadors, (“Ambassadors”), to ensure
compliance.
(ix) The Executive has the right to manage a region in certain circumstances
for example, a Region not having enough members to form a Regional
Table, or any other circumstances such as repeated non-compliance and
disrespect of the Tribal Nations Constitution, Rules and legal obligations.
19.6 The Executive has the following rights:
(i) Immediate termination of membership.
(ii) Sanction a member for non-compliance with the rules.
(iii) To amend the club rules in consultation with and input from the
Ambassadors.
(iv) To elect non-executive positions
(v) To manage all marketing, promotions and merchandise and Intellectual
Property.
20 REGIONS
20.1 Two- stages
(i) Dependent – overseen by the Tribal Nations National Executive
(ii) Independent
20.2 Dependent Region
(i) Must be controlled by the Executive until such time the Executive have
given that region the mandate to become Independent.

(ii) Joining Fee and subscriptions must be paid to the Region.
20.3 Independent Region – Requirements
(i) Compliance with the Constitution and Tribal Nations Rules.
(ii) Monthly reporting to the Executive.
(iii) Payment of $20 per member calculated on the last day of each quarter
to be paid to the Executive.
(iv) An Independent Region is accountable to the Executive.
(v) Must set up and operate their own bank account for members
subscriptions and charity work.
(vi) Must take care of their own politics.
(vii) Must hold their own monthly meetings and report back to the Executive.
(viii) Must organise and fund their own events.
(ix) Payment of the quarterly payments to be administered by the
Independent Region.
20.4 REGIONAL TABLES
` (i) The Regional Table positions except Ambassador are 3-year terms. The
Regional Ambassador position is held of a term of 5 years and re-election
is by 75% vote at a Regional Meeting. The Regional Table consists of:
(a) Ambassador
(b) Kaitaiki
(c) Road Captain
(d) Treasurer
(e) Secretary
(ii) Regional Table decisions are made by a 75% vote of the Regional Table.
(iii) A Regional Ambassador may appoint a Vice Ambassador in special

circumstances and endorsed by the National Executive.
20.5 REGIONAL TABLE POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:
(i) Regional Ambassador: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the
Region in compliance with the Constitution and rules. To manage (with
the Kaitiaki), internal issues such as disciplinary issues, complaints,
instability so far as possible. Liaise with the Chief Ambassador. To
provide a annual report for the AGM.
(ii) Regional Kaitiaki: To manage internal issues such as disciplinary
matters, complaints and instability (in conjunction with the Regional
Ambassador). To support members generally and provide guidance.
Liaise with other motorcycle clubs, ensure safety. To liaise with the Sgt
At Arms.
(iv) Regional Treasurer: Manage club finances and fees and ensure
compliance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. Liaise with
National Treasurer.
(v) Regional Secretary: provide administrative support to the Regional
Ambassador and Regional Table, monitor correspondence. To
Accurately record the regional meeting Minutes. Liaise with National
Secretary.
(vi) Regional Road Captain: Plan and organise regular designated club
rides. Plan and Regional ROR and RATS rides and any other rides the
region organises for the community. Manage and oversee safety during
all rides. Provide safety briefings for club and community rides. Provide
guidance and support for new members. Liaise with National Road
Captain.
20.6 REGIONAL AMBASSADOR FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
(i) An Ambassador holds the position for 5 years.
(ii) After 5 years an Ambassador must reapply for their position to the
National Executive in consultation with members of that Region.
(iii) If after consultation with the members of a region, an Ambassador is not
supported by the majority of the members of a region, the National
Executive must appoint another Full Member from that region as the

Ambassador in consultation with the members.
(iv) To oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of the Region.
(v) To be transparent and accountable to their members and the Executive.
(vi) To report any issues that they are unable to resolve forthwith.
(vii) To provide an annual report in writing to the Executive.
(viii) To abide by the purposes and principles of Tribal Nations and to act in
accordance with the directions of the Executive.
(ix) To ensure members’ compliance with all aspects of the Constitution and
Rules.
(x) To keep members informed of any decisions that affect them.
(xi) To promote Regional growth.
(xii) To ensure their Region operates within the Constitution and within the
rules of the Incorporated Societies Act.
(xiii) The Ambassador can appoint interim Regional positions in consultation
with the Executive.
(xiv) The Ambassador must inform the Executive immediately of any changes
to their Regional Table.
20.7 REGIONAL TABLE FUNCTIONS
(i) To support the Ambassador with the day today operation of the Region.
(ii) To organise and manage the annual Tribal Nations, ROR and RATS
rides.
21 NON-EXECUTIVE POSITIONS
(i) Chief Ambassador – Team Leader for Ambassadors to liaise with the
Executive regarding all aspects of regional and national issues affecting

their regions, to hold meetings with Ambassadors when necessary, and
to keep Ambassadors informed of all matters affecting them and their
Regions.
(ii) Chief Ambassador position tenure is 5 years. To be re-viewed and reelected by recommendation by Regional Ambassadors and National
Executive.
(iii) To be eligible for Chief Ambassador the candidate must be a current
Ambassador,
(iv) Media Officer and Brand Manager – Marketing and promotion of Tribal
Nations, and protection of intellectual property.
22 ELECTIONS/VOTING AT REGIONAL & NATIONAL LEVEL
22.1 At an Annual General Meeting, (“AGM”) the National President, Sgt At Arms and
National Vice President must be elected from members residing in Te Puku
region, (Waikato). The national Secretary, National Road Captain and National
Treasurer positions may be elected from members residing in other regions.
(i) Only Full Members with up to date fees can be nominated and elected
to National Executive positions.
(ii) A National Executive Member may hold more than one position if
necessary.
(iii) A National Executive Member holds a position until either his/her tenure
ends or he/she resigns. Resignation is in writing to the National
Executive.
(vii) If any National Executive member resigns before their tenure ends, the
National Executive must appoint a member to the position in the interim
until the next AGM when their position will be put to the vote.
(viii) If a National Executive member wishes to be elected to a vacant position
at an AGM he/she must resign from their existing position to become
eligible for election. If he/she is not successful he/she cannot be
reinstated to the National Executive. He/she reverts to Full Member
Status.

(vi) Voting for National Executive positions can be done by proxy through an
Ambassador if a member is unable to attend an AGM.
(vii) The voting process at an AGM must be conducted by an Ambassador
outside of Te Puku (Waikato). The votes must be counted by 2
Ambassadors (outside of Te Puku) and to be double checked in the same
manner.
(viii) The National Secretary must record accurately the nominees, the
proportion of the vote received in the AGM Minutes, and the names of
the members who counted and double checked the votes. The written
record must be checked for accuracy by the Ambassadors who
conducted the voting process.
(v) All issues put to the vote shall be decided by a simple majority with a
show of hands. If a majority vote cannot be achieved the National
President has a casting vote.
(vi) Voting at an AGM closes no later than 24 hours prior to the AGM.
